The Club began in the early 1990's as Highfield Basketball Club, playing at Houghton Leisure centre. Since that time we have had a number of home venues (Whitburn CA, Biddick School, Sandhill View, and Farringdon Community Sports College), and have run anything from one to 3 male and one female teams, including at various times junior teams in the Newcastle Eagles organised Central Venue Leagues.
One or two of our notable successes are as follows:

History teaches us lessons that we can use in the future; nothing is new, everything repeats, the difference is how the lessons from the past are interpreted. To pass these lessons on and ensure that knowledge and experience grows is vital.
